Indian summer picnic

This is my Indian summer picnic dream, that I would be able to carry my little Yorkie, Priscilla around in my picnic basket, or even better, take her on a picnic with me. Actually, if I could take her with me everywhere I would love that most. But you can see by her actions documented here in time lapse photography that she is not the least bit interested. Well, maybe for a split second or two.
First, Priscilla surveys the situation...

feverishly sniffing the linens she quickly realizes there is nothing of importance in this basket.Priscilla then ponders her next move...

Notice the hairy butt quickly exiting stage left!

Please go here to see what others are bringing to the picnic.
Happy Autumn everyone.

My dog, "The Bebbers" is so happy that you'll be bringing your sweet little dog to the picnic. Now they can keep each other company and have fun romping and gambolling in the grass all day. I'm having a great time at the picnic...didn't Cynthia make so much delicious picnic food? Wonderful....

I'm so glad you are bringing a doglet-I'll bring a few as well. What is a picnic without a few pups?

My three doggies say "Howdy" too and have a happy picnic! Thanks for not bringing any bugs. [giggle]
You've got good taste in art. I really like the Floating Stone Bull. Way cool.
BTW, we also seem to have the same taste in music. I listen to Channel 46 (Top Tracks from the 1970s) on XM radio almost all day long. Groove On.

My dogs will be there too! Layla and Lucy would love a picnic and would like very much to spend time with Priscilla. The pictures are sooo cute! What was the time lapse on that? About 10 seconds? She might have stayed if there was a plate of fried checken in there with her. Or not. Would you like one more of Livinia's deviled eggs? Thank you for joining in the fun today!

I find this quite humorous, adorable, and plain old fun. Love that you took the time to get that basket set up and put P in it and snap away!

I agree a picnic is no fun without animals!!!
Love your yorkie (Love small dogs, big ones as well, in fact I love all animals but I have a weak spot for little dogs)
I took mine along as well so together with Snuffles (from Soulbrush and Bebbers (from Lavinia) they can have lots of fun!

Greetings Marianne

Little Yorkie and Pricilla are adorable! My don't we have a lot of frolicking doggies at our picnic today. I've bought Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy!

Something was happening
down in the park;
such a yap
could be heard,
such a blusterous bark.
A fidget of dogs
lined up like a class
for Cynthia's Indian Picnic
romp in the grass!

Wow, what a pack of cute doggies are here today! Just look at them all run and play. Do you mind if I pass out some doggie treats? They need some picnic food too.

What an adorable dog! I love your basket too. I'm so glad you came on over to the picnic. Wasn't Cynthia a doll to have such a fun affair? She's always doing such fun things.
