thank you mother earth

Happy Earth Day everyone! I came across an interesting email from the Sierra Club today. If you go here you can quiz yourself to find out how green you are in different areas of your life. I took the "How green is my workout" quiz and got a 68. they said I had some good moves, but I could probably save a few more trees. There were also green quizzes on your love life and your pirate ship among others. check it out here. If nothing else, you'll raise your awareness. Even if you wind up making one or two small changes. If everyone did something, it really adds up to a healthier environment for us all. Besides, the earth has given us so much, shouldn't we take care of her in return?

Happy Earth Day to you too, Lily.

Speaking of which: I'm launching a new photo meme called Think Green Thursday tonight. Would you like to join in?

I enjoyed this post. But what really got my attention was that Twitter comment about you running 6.2 miles! I am SO impressed! Good goin'. :) I wonder if my bunions would even allow me to run anymore. I haven't tried in years.

Ahh, mother earth is indeed wonderful and your tulips and moss? look pretty. Very spring-like.
Conversely for us, it has been raining hard here and we are all rejoicing in the bounty after such a dry summer. Autumn has taken hold at last.

A few days late but Green Day is a 365 day holiday that we should all celebrate daily. Your spring flowers were a nice touch and I love your quotes.
BTW I did a blog on hydrangeas that grow in my cousin's yard. You might like to see http://www.activerain.com/thebuyerschoice.com
