I was listening to Newt Gingrich on the radio yesterday morning and I heard him say that the extreme left want the American people to change their lifestyle by forcing everyone to pay $7 a gallon for gas. Then he went on a rant about how Nancy Pelosi believes she is the planets personal saviour while he thought her job was to help the American people. I was like wait... Wha??? I don't know about you guys, but I just don't get it.
Anyway, I'm not big on political discussions as far as backing up what one political personality says over another but Newt just seems really pissed that God forbid we should rely on anything else other than oil which just seems a tad bit narrow minded in this day and age. Then I came across this site that makes a lot of sense to me. Go here to learn more. See what you think.

The ad makes a lot of sense to me too

Personally, I don't know how to participate, since #1 there is NO ONE in my neighborhood who would even consider it, and #2 it looks as if 9/27 is going to be celebrated here with a nor'easter and there won't be much activity other than that.

I have gone on line a few times, looking for any group anywhere near me. There are none.

I would love to see some eager, interested faces and hear a little enthusiasm from people around me. I think my only kind of participation has to be through my blog.

Seems like different people hear the same person speak and hear something else. The democratic congress hasn't done everything they could to help out where alternative sources of energy are concerned. :-)PGma

it's true PGma. I think the main thing now is for people to forget about the politicians & unite in grassroots movements. Will people be able to work with each other without looking at one another as a democrat or a republican...I'm not sure, but it seems like that is the only way if we are going to move forward in the best interest of America.
Politicians seem very divisive to me.
