I have to read 'Angela's Ashes' for summer reading, and I was very surprised to open Newsday and see that he might not make it through the weekend. Sad. Jenjen
Nice tribute. Also loved your post about SylviaTheCat--I still have moments when I miss animal companion friends dead these many years, memories & a tear brought on by a passing shadow or perhaps a long forgotten toy...
Frank McCourt's passing brought tears to my eyes that a great story teller has left us. I haven't read "Teacher Man" but will never forget "Angela's Ashes".
